✨ A Crystal of Natural Geometry, Ancient Character and Earthy Beauty
Explore the fascinating details of this Colombian Lemurian Cathedral Record Keeper Quartz with Limonite from Santander, Colombia.
Combining the distinctive cathedral-like crystal structure with the characteristic growth markings associated with Lemurian quartz, this specimen offers an intriguing blend of natural geometry and mineral beauty.
Colombian quartz from the Santander region is appreciated by collectors for its attractive crystal formations and clarity. Some specimens from this region display pronounced horizontal growth striations along their prism faces, commonly described in the crystal trade as Lemurian markings. These natural ridges give the crystal an interesting tactile quality and distinctive appearance.
The presence of limonite, an earthy iron-rich mineral material, adds another dimension to the specimen. Its warm yellowish, golden-brown or rusty tones can contrast beautifully with the quartz, creating a natural connection between the transparent crystal and the surrounding mineral environment.
The Cathedral designation describes the specimen's overall crystal architecture and appearance. Combined with the Record Keeper designation, it gives the piece particular appeal among collectors who appreciate unusual crystal formations and the traditional spiritual symbolism associated with Lemurian quartz.
Whether displayed as a centrepiece in a mineral cabinet, used as a meditation focal point or added to a specialised quartz collection, this Colombian specimen has a distinctive presence.
